Louis Nicky Taylor is born raised and Educated in Philadelphia Pa. He attended Settlement Music and Graduated from Overbrook High class of 83. He attended the University of Arts and studied Saxophone under Larry McKenna. After Leaving College he began working Both Locally and in Atlantic City Full time at the Casinos Honing his skills with various Lounge acts and Orchestra gigs backing famous artist such as Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, The Temptations, Spinners just to name a few. In 2001 Louis began an 8 Year Contract with the TV Food Network, performing and writing music for the “Emeril Live” Cooking Show. During this time Louis performed with artist such as , Chick Corea, Buddy Guy, Joe Perry, Sammy Hagar, Charlie DANIELS, Arron Neville just to name a few.Louis is also an original member of the Urban Guerilla Orchestra ( Soultrane House Orchestra). Louis is currently touring with Legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members “Kool and the Gang” ( Robert Kool Bell), also Louis does stints with Legendary Vocalists Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge!
